I think I am in between a thin sheet of despair and loss.

There's a desolate beauty imbued within the song.

It's melodious, healing and speaks truth in so many ways.

I can almost feel the chords, rhythm and life seep into my soul.

Such a beautiful and mesmerizing song.

I almost feel like it's providing me with so much relief because I am not the only one feeling this way. It's like another voice tapping into my head, mind and soul. There it goes racing just ever so softly in the evangelical presence of my head.

The song is called, Samson.

It expresses how much and what I am feeling so much right now. I think it's about vulnerability and making false choices that are right.

It's about feeling powerless in what we are faced with. The only way we are to resort to this despair is to be grateful for what has been given to us. It's about a paralyzing fear we have within ourselves. That this can be overcome. It's about not necessarily getting what you want.

That sometimes the happiest endings are the saddest.

Lyrics: Samson - Regina Spektor

"You are my sweetest downfall

Samson went back to bed

You are my sweetest downfall

Samson came to my bed

Samson went back to bed

You are my sweetest downfall
