It's a mixture of heavy and light tones. To make an atmosphere of hope and vastness.

It starts very subtle and gentle. Like Lucas is an Angel who is hugging me with his voice.

It's beautiful because they know what I'm going through.

"

Sorrows, periphery is choking me

Will I ever leave behind the exquisite pain?

Hope, Intrinsically, is lost on me"

I like the contrast of heavy and gentle. It shows two sides. That we need to be comforted. But with despair, there is a frustration, anger and coming to turns with the illness.

I like how it ends with a happy bop. It means that we shall live on. Continue to live our lives that we put on for others.

Lyrics

There's something wrong inside of me

A stomachache of tragedy

Can't tell if I'm cursed or chronically ill

There's so much inside of me I'm trying to kill

I'm trying to kill

[Chorus]

Woe and misery have followed me

Sorrows, periphery is choking me

Will I ever leave behind the exquisite pain?

Hope intrinsically is lost on me

[Verse 2]

My insomnia waves nd sleeping through the days

Make me look like I'm fine, that's nothing but a lie

Eating to fill my flesh and starving myself

Have got me looking in good health, but I still don't feel my best

What I told myself was a pilgrimage

Is nothing short of a severance

You can tell from my pure grim image

That I am only alive for reverence

[Chorus]

Woe and misery have followed me

Sorrows, periphery is choking me

Will I ever leave behind the exquisite pain?

Hope intrinsically is lost on me

[Bridge]

Despite the uncompromising pain

I'm still so scared of death, so scared of death

The only difference between

A rut and a grave is the depth

[Chorus]

Woe and misery have followed me

Sorrows, periphery is choking me

Will I ever leave behind the exquisite pain?

Hope intrinsically is lost on me
