Renewed Again

The rawness of music seeps into my soul. Revitalizing the pain that I’ve kept in for too long. It’s a rebirth for me. I finally feel relinquished from the trauma that has been shackled in my heart, as this life holds many decisions that we need to make.
What is the right answer? There is no right or wrong in our paradise.
To feel again at a gig was like surviving again. Being renewed into this world is like seeing with fresh eyes. I sang the words with compassion. It was love because I got to make myself feel all my emotions. The love was so invigorating, that I felt my heart light up. It was heavenly because I felt a sacred connection with the words, melody and rhythmic beats.
It was pain, understanding, and passion all in one.
When you know the words to the music, it just slips off your tongue ever so angelically.
We were made to listen to music that moves us, as this is what we are born for. To feel again. With no worries or expectations about what other people may think of us.
Be your own butterfly, bursting out of its cocoon. The world is renewed again because we have hope. Hope that the human spirit lives on.
Trophy eyes made me learn that you can still love a band, even if their new music sounds refined, but you know that it is made with love. The rawness and emotions from their older music is as pure as heaven. You cannot deny its subtle sacredness. When bands evolve, their newer sounds are more generic.
The rawness of their older stuff, the emotion and redemption are there. It's pure because it's just them speaking from their heart. Then bands start to sound more refined and generic so that they can attract a wider audience. It still sounds like a bop, but it's not as pure and raw as their previous work.
You can still listen to the older music with passion and liberty, where it doesn't mean you can't listen to it. It just means that they are still the same band. When they turn more refined, and you can still love them the same way. The band just needs to survive, to do what they love.
